🎥 “Crime 101” Trailer: Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo Star in Bart Layton’s Stylish Heist Thriller Adapted from Don Winslow’s Crime Book — In Theaters February 13th, 2026
They say crime doesn’t pay. Chris Hemsworth is here to say otherwise, playing a meticulously calculated master thief who has built a successful life of luxury and danger. But he soon learns there’s no such thing as the perfect crime—though he comes dangerously close to pulling off the ultimate one.
In the upcoming heist thriller Crime 101, the Thor star leads a powerhouse cast as Mike Davis, an elusive jewel thief whose string of high-end heists along Los Angeles’s iconic 101 freeway has left authorities baffled and chasing shadows. When he plots one final, life-changing score, his path unexpectedly collides with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry), a woman desperate for her own escape route. But with a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) closing in and time running out, the line between hunter and hunted grows perilously thin.
It’s Heat meets Hemsworth—a high-stakes thriller out to prove that crime doesn’t pay... but that doesn’t mean it won’t keep you living large until the bottom drops.
Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed crime novella of the same name, the film comes from writer-director Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter), known for blending true crime, flawed characters, and a sharp dose of cinematic intensity.
In addition to Hemsworth, Berry, and Ruffalo, the cast also features Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tate Donovan, and Nick Nolte.
Crime 101 hits theaters February 13th, 2026.
🎥 “Altered” Trailer: Tom Felton Leads a Genetic Uprising in Timo Vuorensola’s New Sci-Fi Action Flick — In Theaters and on VOD/Digital November 21st
In a post-nuclear war future, the world has been destroyed yet rebuilt into a hyper-advanced society. The catch? Humanity is now split into two distinct classes: the “Genetics”—genetically enhanced humans with extraordinary abilities who live comfortably at the top of the social chain—and the “Specials”—ordinary, unmodified humans left to scrape by in the shadows.
In this brave new world, the halves and the have-nots aren’t divided by wealth or privilege anymore—they’re separated by genetics. Those with enhancements, and those without.
Tom Felton (of the Harry Potter franchise) plays one of the unfortunate latter in this new sci-fi action thriller from cult Finnish filmmaker Timo Vuorensola, the offbeat mind behind the off-the-wall Nazis-on-the-moon sci-fi comedy Iron Sky and its sequel Iron Sky: The Coming Race.
In Vuorensola’s latest, Altered, a rebuilt society following nuclear devastation thrives on genetic modification, leaving the unmodified to suffer beneath the engineered elite. When a group of underground rebels decides to fight back, the battle for equality threatens to tear what’s left of humanity apart.
Felton leads the charge as a reluctant hero drawn into the resistance. As a wheelchair-bound “Special,” he and his ragtag crew construct a technologically advanced supersuit that not only restores his ability to walk but transforms him into a tech-powered street vigilante fighting for justice.
Co-starring Aggy K. Adams, Liza Bugulova, Igor Jijikin, and Richard Brake, the indie sci-fi film blends slick dystopian visuals with Vuorensola’s trademark dark wit and superhero flair. Drawing inspiration from Elysium and Gattaca, it builds a pulpy, comic-book-inspired world where evolution itself becomes the ultimate weapon.
Altered hits theaters and arrives on VOD/Digital November 21st.
🎥 “Silent Night, Deadly Night” Trailer: Rohan Campbell Wields the Axe in Mike P. Nelson’s Bloody Reimagining of the Cult Christmas Slasher — In Theaters December 12th
This Christmas, Santa’s not coming to town... he’s coming for blood!
The cult 1984 slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night drummed up so much controversy at the time that it was pulled from theaters just a week after its release, following protests from outraged parents and religious groups who took issue with its depiction of a killer Santa Claus. Fast forward to 2025—nearly 41 years later—and the image of Santa Claus wielding a bloody axe has ironically become an iconic image of horror history, inspiring countless films and television shows that have embraced the idea of turning Christmas imagery into something to fear rather than celebrate.
That being said, Silent Night, Deadly Night also spawned some of the cheesiest and most ridiculously awful sequels a horror franchise has ever produced, with Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 standing out in the annals of truly bad horror films—thanks in large part to its infamously over-the-top “Garbage day!” scene, which has since become a beloved cult meme among fans.
Nevertheless, horror filmmaker Mike P. Nelson (The Domestics, Wrong Turn) is now taking a stab at reimagining the cult Christmas horror tale, aiming to deliver a fresh, blood-soaked gift for a new generation of horror fans.
In this new Silent Night, Deadly Night remake, Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends) takes on the lead role as Billy, a troubled young man who, after witnessing his parents’ brutal murder by a man in a Santa suit, grows up only to don the red outfit himself. Now an adult with a warped sense of justice, Billy turns Christmas Eve into a blood-spewing nightmare as he picks up an axe and punishes those he deems “naughty” in a small town that never saw him coming.
Also starring Ruby Modine, David Lawrence Brown, David Tomlinson, and Mark Acheson, the film promises to blend vintage slasher grit with a modern edge. And in an era of Terrifier, Longlegs, and Smile, the one you should fear most might just be the jolly guy coming down the chimney.
Silent Night, Deadly Night slices into theaters December 12th.
🎥 “Selena y Los Dinos” Trailer: Rare Family Footage Brings Selena’s Story to Life in Isabel Castro’s Sundance-Winning Netflix Documentary — Streaming November 17th
To many, Selena was the heart and soul of the emerging Tejano music scene in the 1990s. To others, her tragic life story became the subject of a beloved music biopic starring a young Jennifer Lopez. Gone far too soon—and with countless opinions over who she was—perhaps it’s best to let the Queen of Tejano speak for herself in this new Sundance-winning documentary.
Selena y Los Dinos is a new Netflix original documentary that not only celebrates the life and enduring legacy of Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, but also tells her story through rare, never-before-seen footage from the Quintanilla family’s personal archives. The film traces Selena’s meteoric rise alongside her siblings and parents as they broke barriers, blended genres, and brought Tejano music to the global stage.
Directed by Isabel Castro (Mija), the documentary—named after Selena’s family band, Selena y Los Dinos (translated to Selena and the Dinos)—offers an intimate portrait of family, ambition, and the cultural movement she helped spark, one that continues to inspire generations decades after her passing.
Winner of a Grand Jury Prize for Archival Storytelling at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Selena y Los Dinos premieres Monday, November 17th on Netflix.

In this upcoming sequel to the faith-based hit, I Can Only Imagine 2, Bart faces his hardest challenge yet: keeping his faith and family intact as fame threatens to tear them apart.
