📺 “The Night Manager: Season 2” Teaser Trailer: Tom Hiddleston Returns as the Reluctant Spy in the Long-Awaited New Season with Camila Morrone & Olivia Colman — Premieres Sunday, January 11th on Prime Video
There’s a reason why Tom Hiddleston’s name always pops up when they talk about who should take over the James Bond franchise. He fits all the requirements: 1) he’s British, 2) he looks good in a nice tailored suit, and 3) he carries that quiet charm and dangerous charisma that makes you believe he could save the world if the situation ever calls for it.
But if you need any more proof that Hiddleston belongs in the espionage genre, look no further than The Night Manager, the acclaimed 2016 miniseries based on John le Carré’s novel, where he plays a former military officer turned hotel night manager. Hiddleston makes the game of spying look effortlessly seductive—cool under pressure, dangerously clever, and always one move ahead.
And because of that, Hiddleston might just rank among the top choices to take on the mantle of James Bond. But even if he never gets the chance to don the tux and order that martini, he’ll always have the character Jonathan Pine—the suave, haunted, and endlessly watchable spy whose charm can be just as deadly as a gun.
After almost a decade since the release of the original Emmy-winning miniseries, Hiddleston is once again called back into action for the long-awaited second season—because there’s only one man for the job. And that man is Jonathan Pine.
Hiddleston slips seamlessly back into the role. But the suave hotelier-turned-spy we last saw walking off into the night is long gone. Now operating under the name Alex Goodwin, Pine leads a low-profile life as an MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London. That peace doesn’t last long.
When a chance encounter with one of Richard Roper’s old mercenaries sparks suspicion, Pine is pulled back into the shadows. His trail leads him to Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva), a charismatic Colombian businessman with far darker intentions. Teaming up with Roxana Bolaños (Camila Morrone), a reluctant ally with her own secrets, Pine dives headfirst into an arms conspiracy that threatens to ignite chaos across Latin America. He now must decide whether he’s infiltrating danger—or becoming it.
Olivia Colman reprises her fan-favorite role as Angela Burr, the level-headed agency chief who once tried to save Pine from himself, while familiar faces Alistair Petrie, Noah Jupe, Douglas Hodge, and Michael Nardone also return. New additions to the ensemble include Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, and Hayley Squires, rounding out a world of diplomats, dealers, and double agents.
Directed by Georgi Banks-Davies (Kaos, I Hate Suzie), the second season once again draws inspiration from John le Carré’s classic espionage universe. But this time, the result promises to be sleeker, sharper, and even more sophisticated—where no one, not even the Night Manager himself, can sleep easy.
The Night Manager: Season 2 premieres Sunday, January 11 on Prime Video.
📺 “The Abandons” Trailer: Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson Face Off in Explosive New Western Saga From Sons of Anarchy Creator Kurt Sutter — Premieres Thurs, December 4th on Netflix
Showrunner Kurt Sutter is back in the saddle... and this time, he’s trading bikes for horses but keeping that same old outlaw spirit alive.
The Abandons marks the Sons of Anarchy creator’s long-awaited return to television, bringing his trademark grit and moral chaos to the lawless 1850s frontier. Set in the rugged Washington Territory, the Netflix series pits two families against each other: one rich, one poor, but both led by fierce matriarchs who’ll stop at nothing to protect their own. And only a fool would dare get in between them, as these women aren’t just locking horns, they’re waging a full-on war for survival, power, and the very soul of the frontier.
Sutter, famed for creating the brutal, hyper-masculine world of biker gangs in his beloved FX hit Sons of Anarchy, channels that same raw ferocity and muscular intensity here. But this time, the engine’s driven by two fearless, uncompromising women who are, without a doubt, more than any man could handle.
In Sutter’s new series, Game of Thrones alum Lena Headey stars as Fiona Nolan, the defiant leader of a found family known as “the Abandons,” a ragtag clan of orphans and outsiders who’ve carved out a home on the fertile land of Jasper Hollow.
On the other side stands X-Files alum Gillian Anderson as Constance Van Ness, a shrewd widow determined to expand her mining empire. And she’s got her sights set squarely on Fiona’s land. When Constance’s ambition collides with Fiona’s survival, the result is a powder keg of class warfare, revenge, and retribution.
Meanwhile, a forbidden love has ignited between Fiona’s adopted son Elias (Nick Robinson, Jurassic World) and Constance’s daughter Trisha (Aisling Franciosi, Speak No Evil), adding even more fuel to the fire between these two families. And while their star-crossed affair may be doomed, it’s only one thread in a brutal, sprawling tale of greed and vengeance.
Backed by a strong ensemble that includes Lamar Johnson, Diana Silvers, Lucas Till, Brían F. O’Byrne, Marc Menchaca, Ryan Hurst, and Patton Oswalt, The Abandons promises to be a sweeping Western spectacle with bite. Think Deadwood meets Sons of Anarchy, only meaner!
The Abandons is due to premiere Thursday, December 4th on Netflix.
📺 “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 2” Trailer: Walker Scobell Returns for a Mythic Voyage Into the Sea of Monsters — Premieres Wed, December 10th on Disney+
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Disney’s hit fantasy adventure series based on Rick Riordan’s beloved novels, returns with Season 2 next month, diving deeper into the dangerous and dazzling world of Greek gods, monsters, and demigod drama.
Walker Scobell (The Adam Project) is back as Percy Jackson—now a little older, a little wiser, and still grappling with the fact that his dad happens to be Poseidon. But peace at Camp Half-Blood doesn’t last long. When his friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) goes missing and a new half-brother—a cyclops named Tyson (Daniel Diemer)—enters the picture, Percy sets sail into uncharted waters.
Joined once again by Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), Percy embarks on a perilous journey across the Sea of Monsters, where ancient threats stir and Kronos’ forces close in. Expect high-stakes quests, new mythic creatures, and plenty of lightning-charged action—all while friendships and loyalties are put to the test.
With author Rick Riordan deeply involved and the Disney+ team giving the series the scale and space it deserves, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is shaping up to be the adaptation fans have long awaited: part coming-of-age odyssey, part mythological mayhem.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 2 is slated to premiere Wednesday, December 10th on Disney+.

You’d think Netflix might have run out of steam when it comes to murder mysteries after the massive success of Rian Johnson’s Knives Out films, but think again! The streamer is diving back into the whodunit game, this time going straight to the queen of the genre herself with a new adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery.
Set in 1925 England, this forthcoming three-part Netflix limited series delivers classic Christie intrigue with a fresh twist, as a playful prank at a lavish country manor turns deadly.
From Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall, and starring BAFTA Rising Star Mia McKenna-Bruce (How to Have Sex) as the inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, the story follows the sharp-witted socialite as she takes it upon herself to investigate a suspicious death in her friend’s stately home—only to uncover far more than she bargained for. What begins as a social scandal soon spirals into a tangled web of deceit, danger, and secret societies hiding behind aristocratic facades.
Joining McKenna-Bruce are Helena Bonham Carter, Martin Freeman, Corey Mylchreest, Ed Bluemel, and Nabhaan Rizwan. With its polished period setting and modern cinematic flair, this stylish adaptation promises to bring Christie’s signature blend of wit, suspense, and upper-crust chaos roaring back to life.
