The Long Walk — Trailer
(in theaters Sept 12th)
Stephen King’s The Long Walk has been a haunting presence in the back of horror fans’ minds for decades, a tale that takes the simple act of walking and turns it into a nightmarish endurance test. Written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman in the late '70s, the novel taps into King’s own fears of violence and authoritarianism during the turbulent Vietnam War era.
After years of buzz, attempts, and false starts (including a near-adaptation from both The Shawshank Redemption filmmaker Frank Darabont and horror legend George A. Romero), the film is finally walking its way to theaters this year. Directed by Hunger Games helmer Francis Lawrence, this film brings King’s brutal dystopia to life with an ensemble cast led by Licorice Pizza's Cooper Hoffman, Alien: Romulus's David Jonsson, and the ever-reliable Mark Hamill, who plays the cold-blooded Major. Set in an alternate America now under a military regime, the film follows a group of college-aged contestants forced to maintain a punishing pace in a deadly race where slowing down means death.
Think The Hunger Games meets The Running Man—except with a lot more walking and a lot less stopping. If you’ve been dreaming of this adaptation since the '80s, mark your calendars: The Long Walk finally hits theaters nationwide on September 12th.
Success always seems to come at a price... but this time, the cost could be everything.
Highest 2 Lowest — Teaser
(In theaters Aug 22nd and on Apple TV+ Sept 5th)
After nearly 20 years, two of Hollywood’s finest, Oscar-winning director Spike Lee and Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington, are teaming up once again for Highest 2 Lowest, their long-awaited fifth collaboration. This time, Washington plays a hot-shot music mogul who’s forced to choose between personal gain and protecting those he loves when a high-stakes ransom plot shakes his world.
Set against the gritty, vibrant backdrop of New York City, the film is a contemporary reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s noir classic High and Low, exploring themes of justice, integrity, and the price of success. With an unforgettable teaser set to James Brown’s The Payback, the film promises bold visuals and sharp commentary on the cutthroat nature of the music industry.
The cast also includes Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and rappers A$AP Rocky and Ice Spice, with Spike bringing his signature visual style to this crime thriller. Highest 2 Lowest hits theaters August 22nd, followed by an exclusive streaming debut on Apple TV+ on September 5th. Will it be worth the wait? You bet. Because this is one reunion that’s been a long time coming.
Get ready for the fight of the century ... quite literally!
The Old Guard 2 — Trailer
(on Netflix July 2nd)
Charlize Theron has already proven herself a badass in Mad Max: Fury Road and Atomic Blonde, and now she’s back as Andy, the millennia-old immortal warrior, in The Old Guard 2. But this time, she’s up against an ancient rival—none other than Kill Bill's Uma Thurman, who joins the cast as Discord, the first immortal. And what better way to bring these two action icons together than in a battle to the death?
With Andy’s immortality on the line (she's no longer healing from her wounds), she must lead her mercenary team of immortals (KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, and Matthias Schoenaerts) to stop Discord’s plot to tear humanity apart. Expect plenty of explosive sword fights, intense battles, and personal vendettas as the stakes get higher.
Directed by Victoria Mahoney and written by Greg Rucka, based on his best-selling The Old Guard comic book series, The Old Guard 2 hits Netflix on July 2nd.
It seems evil’s not done with the Warrens, just yet.
The Conjuring: Last Rites — Teaser
(In theaters Sept 5th)
After nearly a decade of spine-chilling thrills and jump scares, the Conjuring universe is finally closing the door on Ed and Lorraine Warren's saga with The Conjuring: Last Rites. This final installment, directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), tackles the notorious 1986 Smurl haunting, where a family faced violent poltergeist attacks and demonic apparitions. It’s time to say goodbye to the iconic Warren duo, played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, who’ve anchored the franchise with their remarkable lead performances.
The Conjuring franchise has built a horror universe as successful as the MCU, but with each new sequel and spinoff, the scares have started to feel more formulaic than we had hoped. But as James Wan bids farewell to the Warrens, fans can rest assured, their legacy in modern horror will live on.
Get ready for the final chapter when The Conjuring: Last Rites hits theaters on September 5th. Will this haunting finale provide the closure fans are hoping for? Only time... and the spirits will tell.
Love is a beautiful thing... until it becomes your worst nightmare.
Together — Trailer
(In theaters July 30th)
What happens when love gets too close? Together takes the concept of soul mates and flips it on its head, diving into the darker side of love and codependency. In this twisted horror thriller, real-life married couple Dave Franco and Alison Brie play a couple whose seemingly perfect life slowly unravels. With a new home, careers, and all the trappings of a happy life, something’s still not right... something sinister draws them closer together, even if they don’t want it. And the closer they get, the more terrifying their bond becomes. As their connection turns literal, their relationship takes a nightmarish turn, blurring the lines between intimacy and suffocation.
This Sundance hit ignited a bidding war, landing a $20 million distribution deal with Neon Films. Written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Michael Shanks, this chilling tale of love gone wrong is bound to make you rethink what it really means to be together... and why being together can sometimes be more dangerous than being apart.
Together hits theaters July 30th. Just in time for a summer of love... and terror!
A stylish private eye, a dead body, a sinful reverend, and more secrets than a gossip column... what more could go wrong?
Honey Don’t! — Trailer
(in theaters Aug 22nd)
Fans of the Coen brothers hoping for a reunion will have to wait a bit longer, but Ethan Coen is keeping his creative juices going with Honey Don’t!, the second installment of his “lesbian B-movie trilogy.” After Drive-Away Dolls, Coen is back with another screwball crime caper starring Margaret Qualley as Honey O’Donahue, a small-town private eye with a flair for fashion and an unrelenting drive for solving mysteries.
When Honey digs into a case involving a dead woman and a shady reverend (played by Chris Evans), she uncovers secrets far darker than anyone imagined. From sex scandals to murder cover-ups, things get messier than expected in this wild ride. The ensemble also features Aubrey Plaza as a local police officer and Charlie Day as a clueless homicide detective, among others.
Honey Don’t! is as quirky as they come, marking Coen’s second collaboration with his wife, editor and producing partner, Tricia Cooke, who co-wrote and co-produced. The film is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival before hitting theaters on August 22nd. So, get ready for a fun, trashy romp with a dash of danger... and just remember, some murder cases can only lead to more trouble when the truth is more twisted than a pretzel at a yoga class.

Stick — Trailer
(on Apple TV+ June 4th)
Golf's long been underserved in the world of film and TV, but Owen Wilson’s here to change that with Stick. He plays Pryce “Stick” Cahill, a washed-up pro golfer trying to find redemption through mentoring a young prodigy. After hitting rock bottom, Pryce sees a chance to relive his passion for the game by coaching Santi (Peter Dager), a cocky kid with a killer swing. But with his personal life falling apart, can Pryce pull off this comeback without completely losing it?
Marc Maron co-stars as the grumpy golf know-it-all who’d rather stay out of everyone’s business but joins Stick's redemption quest against his better judgment, while Judy Greer plays Pryce’s soon-to-be ex-wife.

Peacemaker: Season 2 — Teaser
(on MAX Aug 21st)
James Gunn might still have to prove his Superman can save the day, but Peacemaker has already delivered one of the most delightfully chaotic superhero series ever. The helmet-wearing mercenary, played by John Cena, brings a unique blend of absurd humor, bloody action, and surprising heart—making it possibly the best thing Cena’s ever done.
Returning for Peacemaker Season 2 this summer, Cena reunites with his A.R.G.U.S. team, including agent Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), agent Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), agent John Economos (Steve Agee), the homicidal crimefighting doofus Vigilante (Freddie Stroma), and of course, Eagly, Peacemaker’s loyal pet eagle. Frank Grillo will be joining the chaos as Rick Flag Sr., who's still salty about Peacemaker's past deeds... you know, him killing his son and all. Plus, the new season promises some exciting cameos, including Green Lantern’s Guy Gardner (played by Nathan Fillion) and Hawkgirl (played by The Last of Us: Season 2’s Isabela Merced), both coming straight from Gunn’s upcoming Superman film (out in July).
Peacemaker: Season 2 hits MAX on August 21st, a month after Gunn’s Superman takes flight. So you can bet there will be plenty of superhero ridiculousness, as Gunn cranks the volume up to 11 with his signature blend of dark humor and high-octane action!

The series follows a group of rebels trying to preserve humanity’s knowledge as a galactic empire collapses. With a strong cast led by Lee Pace and Jared Harris, and new additions like Pilou Asbæk and Oscar-winner Troy Kotsur, the stakes have never been higher.
