📺 “Landman: Season 2” Teaser: Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore Face Oilfield Power Struggles in Taylor Sheridan’s Hit Texas Oil Drama with Sam Elliott Joining the Cast — Returning November 16th on Paramount+
One of last year’s breakout TV hits is back this fall, and it looks like the stakes just got even higher.
Billy Bob Thornton returns as Tommy Norris, the grizzled oilman caught between the roughneck fields and the gleaming executive suites. Last season, Tommy was dodging the Mexican cartel while trying to keep both sides of the oil empire happy. This time, he’s moving up the ranks—standing beside Demi Moore’s Cami Miller, the new owner of the company. But with a fresh power vacuum opening at the top, the fight for control is about to get cutthroat.
“She owns the company, but I run it,” Tommy says in the first Season 2 teaser for the hit Paramount+ original series. Tommy might be Cami’s loyal enforcer and most trusted advisor, but he knows there’s only one rule in the oil game: never stop the flow of oil. Because once you do, the flow of money stops too.
Created, co-written, and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Landman is set against the boomtowns of Texas—a modern tale of fortune-seeking, dirty deals, and survival in the world of oil billionaires and the workers who keep the rigs running. The hit series continues Sheridan’s streak of gritty, character-driven dramas that turn American industries into battlegrounds of ambition and loyalty.
Also starring Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Colm Feore, and Andy Garcia, with Sam Elliott joining Season 2 as Tommy’s father, Landman is set to return Sunday, November 16th on Paramount+.
📺 “Tulsa King: Season 3” Trailer: Sylvester Stallone Battles Old-Money Rivals in Taylor Sheridan’s Mob Drama with Samuel L. Jackson Cameo — Returning September 21st on Paramount+
At 79, Sylvester Stallone isn’t slowing down... he’s shifting gears! The Rocky and Rambo legend has carved out a second wind on the small screen, and his hit mob drama Tulsa King is roaring back this month for Season 3.
Created under Taylor Sheridan’s ever-expanding Paramount+ banner, the series finds Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mobster exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after serving 25 years in prison. There, he cobbles together a ragtag crew of locals (Martin Starr, Jay Will, Garrett Hedlund) and builds a criminal empire far from the Five Boroughs.
Now, with Season 3, business is booming... and that’s the problem. The Dunmires, a powerful old-money clan with no patience for Dwight’s brand of honor among thieves, want a piece of the action. And when Tulsa’s new king collides with the entrenched rivals, the turf war is bound to get bloody.
Adding even more firepower this season? Samuel L. Jackson, who drops in for a cameo as one of Dwight’s old associates. Word is, his appearance may set up a potential spin-off series titled NOLA King. Consider us intrigued.
Co-starring Dana Delany, Annabella Sciorra, and McKenna Quigley Harrington, with guest turns from Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, and Robert Patrick, Tulsa King: Season 3 premieres Sunday, September 21st on Paramount+.
📺 “House of Guinness” Trailer: Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, and Fionn O’Shea Clash in Steven Knight’s New Irish Dynasty Drama Series with James Norton and Jack Gleeson — Premiering September 25th on Netflix
Trouble is brewing in the House of Guinness... And in this family, it’s not just the stout that’s dark and bitter.
Picture the scene: Dublin, 1868. The great Sir Benjamin Guinness is dead, leaving behind his empire and four children—Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Benjamin Jr.—to fight over the future of the legendary brewery. But as secrets spill and alliances shift, the real battle isn’t just for control of the business... it’s for survival. And there’s nothing like an Irish family fight to test the strength of blood, loyalty, and legacy.
Created by Peaky Blinders mastermind Steven Knight, House of Guinness dives headfirst into the legacy of one of Europe’s most enduring dynasties. The series charts the fallout of Benjamin’s will, stretching from Dublin’s cobblestone streets to New York’s ruthless underworld, as family rivalries clash with political upheaval and working-class unrest.
The sprawling ensemble cast includes Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air) as Arthur Guinness, Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes) as Edward, Emily Fairn (Black Mirror: Demon 79) as Anne, and Fionn O’Shea (Normal People) as Benjamin Jr. They’re joined by James Norton, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara, Michael McElhatton, Dervla Kirwan, Danielle Galligan, David Wilmot, Jessica Reynolds, Ann Skelly, Elizabeth Dulau, and Game of Thrones alum Jack Gleeson.
With Tom Shankland (SAS: Rogue Heroes, The Serpent) directing four episodes and Mounia Akl (Boiling Point, Costa Brava Lebanon) helming two, House of Guinness promises period grit, family intrigue, and the kind of Shakespearean backstabbing that made Peaky Blinders a global phenomenon.
House of Guinness pours onto Netflix Thursday, September 25th. Cheers... or maybe, watch your back.
📺 “Slow Horses: Season 5” Trailer: Gary Oldman Returns as Jackson Lamb in Apple’s Acclaimed Spy Series with Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden — Streaming September 24th Only on Apple TV+
Gary Oldman is clearly having the time of his life as Jackson Lamb, the flatulent, foul-mouthed, and perpetually unkempt boss of MI5’s dumping ground, Slough House. And honestly? It might be some of the best work of his career. Lamb doesn’t care what you think of him, his manners, or his hygiene—but when Britain’s national security is circling the drain, he and his ragtag team of “loser” agents are somehow the ones you want on the job.
Season 5 finds Lamb and his crew in the middle of another ticking time bomb: a compromised agent, a destabilized London, and a high-stakes blackmail scheme. Their orders? Stand down. Their response? Well, what’s MI5 going to do—fire them again?
Created by Will Smith (no, not that one) and adapted from Mick Herron’s acclaimed Slough House novels, the series has built its reputation on razor-sharp writing, bleak humor, and a cast that makes dysfunction look like an art form.
Oldman leads alongside Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Rosalind Eleazar, Tom Brooke, and Jonathan Pryce in this sardonic, quick-witted take on the spy genre.
Slow Horses returns for Season 5 on Wednesday, September 24th, exclusively on Apple TV+.
📺 “Talamasca: The Secret Order” Trailer: Nicholas Denton Leads AMC’s New Anne Rice Spinoff Series with Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers — Debuting October 26th on AMC and AMC+
Not every truth can be trusted. And in the world of Anne Rice, some truths are best left buried.
AMC is expanding its Immortal Universe with Talamasca: The Secret Order, a new supernatural series diving deep into Rice’s shadowy lore.
The show follows Guy Anatole (played by Nicholas Denton), a sharp but directionless law student who finds his life upended when he’s recruited by the Talamasca—an ancient organization sworn to observe, document, and protect humanity from the things that go bump in the night. Their dossiers include witches, vampires, and creatures far stranger.
Joining Denton are Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers, with Jason Schwartzman, Céline Buckens, and Eric Bogosian reprising his role as journalist Daniel Molloy from AMC’s Interview with the Vampire series.
Created by filmmaker John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, The Founder, Mr. Harrigan's Phone), Talamasca aims to weave together Rice’s supernatural mythos, with a heavy dose of gothic intrigue—perfect for fans of AMC’s ongoing Rice adaptations that already includes Interview with the Vampire, Mayfair Witches and the upcoming spinoff The Vampire Lestat.
Talamasca: The Secret Order is slated to premiere Sunday, October 26th on AMC and AMC+.
📺 “Marvel Zombies” Trailer: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Turn Flesh-Eating Monsters in MCU’s New Dark Animated Miniseries— Premiering September 24th on Disney+
Who will save us from our heroes? That’s the bloody question at the heart of Marvel Zombies, the new animated event series spun out of the fan-favorite “What If… Zombies?!” episode from 2021.
Set in an alternate timeline where Earth’s mightiest heroes have become flesh-hungry monsters, the series picks up with a ragtag group of survivors battling through a world overrun by superpowered zombies. The stakes? Nothing less than humanity’s last shot at survival—if they can outlast the undead Avengers, that is.
Created by Bryan Andrews (who also serves as showrunner and director) and Zeb Wells (head writer), Marvel Zombies promises a bloodier, darker, and more unhinged spin on the Marvel multiverse than anything we’ve seen in animation so far.
The four-part series lands exclusively on Disney+ Wednesday, September 24th. So, grab your stakes, sharpen your swords, and maybe... just maybe, pray your favorite superhero isn’t already craving brains!
