🎥 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
The ocean is calling again!
🎥 Moana — Teaser
(in theaters July 10th)
Disney’s latest live-action gamble dives back into the world of Moana, a choice that sparks two predictable reactions: why remake a modern classic... and why not, since these live-action redos usually print money? Cynicism aside, the story still carries real power.
This teaser mostly keeps Dwayne Johnson’s Maui under wraps for now, aside from a quick shot of his back, but it does introduce newcomer Catherine Laga’aia, who brings fresh fire to the determined chief’s daughter sailing off to save Polynesia from an encroaching darkness.
With Johnson returning as the world’s most lovable demigod and Tony Award–winning Hamilton director Thomas Kail making his feature debut, expect big emotion, big spectacle, and even bigger musical moments. The voyage spans monster-filled waters, ancestral secrets, and Moana’s path to becoming the leader she’s meant to be.
Moana washes ashore in theaters July 10th, 2026.
The Games are back... and Panem won’t forget the outcome.
🎥 The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping — Teaser Trailer
(in theaters Nov 20th)
The Hunger Games is back, and so are its themes that feel eerily closer to real-life issues. With class divides widening and society looking more like Panem by the day, Lionsgate is revisiting one of its most pivotal stories: the origin of District 12’s most celebrated victor, Haymitch Abernathy, notably played by Woody Harrelson in the original films.
Set 24 years before the rise of Katniss, Sunrise on the Reaping dives into the brutal 50th Hunger Games, where the Capitol doubled the tributes and the carnage. Joseph Zada plays a young Haymitch, surrounded by a stacked cast including Glenn Close as Capitol chaperone Drusilla Sickle, Ralph Fiennes as a young President Snow, Jesse Plemons as a young Plutarch Heavensbee, Kieran Culkin as a young Caesar Flickerman, Elle Fanning as a young Effie Trinket, alongside Billy Porter, Mckenna Grace, Ben Wang, and Whitney Peak rounding out the cast.
Once again directed by Hunger Games helmer Francis Lawrence, coming off this year’s Stephen King The Long Walk adaptation and based on Suzanne Collins’ 2025 novel, this sixth installment bridges Songbirds & Snakes to the original films and promises one of Panem’s darkest arenas yet. Arriving in theaters November 20th, 2026.
Saving the world was never in his lesson plan.
🎥 Project Hail Mary — New Trailer
(in theaters Mar 20th)
Humanity’s on the verge of an eco-catastrophe in Project Hail Mary, where the real problem isn’t pollution but the Sun itself mysteriously dying. Enter the least likely savior imaginable: a mild-mannered middle-school science teacher who bikes to work and suddenly becomes Earth’s last hope as he hurtles into space for answers and a cure. It’s a Hail Mary, indeed!
Based on the bestselling novel by The Martian author Andy Weir, Ryan Gosling stars as Ryland Grace, dragged from the classroom into a top-secret mission that launches him deep into space... where he faces a mid-flight crisis only to wake up with a fractured memory. As his past snaps back into focus, he soon discovers he’s not alone — an alien ally is fighting the same solar crisis, and now they must work together to keep the Sun from expiring.
With Anatomy of a Fall’s Sandra Hüller as the steel-spined leader of the Hail Mary initiative and filmmaking duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) making their long-awaited return to live-action feature films, expect a smart, funny, emotionally charged sci-fi adventure where the fate of the planet hinges on a hero who doesn’t sport a cape but probably keeps a pocket protector close at hand.
Project Hail Mary is slated to blast into theaters March 20th, 2026.
Hitting rock bottom sometimes makes great material.
🎥 Is This Thing On? — Trailer
(in theaters Dec 19th)
Will Arnett taps into the emotional sting of being a struggling comic with a lack of persistent punchlines in Is This Thing On?, a grounded dramedy about a newly divorced man who stumbles into stand-up comedy and starts mining his heartbreak for material. His jokes are rough, his confidence is shaky, and his parents (played here by Ciarán Hinds and Christine Ebersole) are horrified by his sudden late-life career change, while his ex-wife (Laura Dern) isn’t laughing either.
Directed by Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper—his third feature following A Star Is Born and Maestro—who also co-stars as the loyal best friend, the film blends personal pain, late-in-life reinvention, and the awkward beauty of bombing onstage when your life has fallen apart.
Inspired loosely by English stand-up comic John Bishop’s autobiography but reshaped by Cooper and Arnett’s own personal experiences, it’s a funny, tender look at starting over when life is in the dumps, where the only way is up. With supporting turns from Andra Day, Amy Sedaris, and Sean Hayes, this one could put Arnett in the awards race.
Is This Thing On? opens in theaters December 19th.
Bless me, Father... for someone here has killed.
🎥 Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery — Trailer
(in theaters Nov 26th; on Netflix Dec 12th)
Daniel Craig returns as Benoit Blanc for his most unsettling case yet in Wake Up Dead Man, a shadowy, scripture-soaked murder mystery set in an upstate New York parish where faith offers fewer answers than the suspects do.
When a revered monsignor (Josh Brolin) turns up dead with no earthly clue as to how he was murdered, Blanc wades through church politics, buried sins, and a lineup of colorful potential suspects, including Josh O’Connor’s jittery young priest, Glenn Close’s icy matron, Kerry Washington and Daryl McCormack’s truth-flexing power duo, Cailee Spaeny’s haunted musician, Andrew Scott’s slippery novelist, Thomas Haden Church’s ominous groundskeeper, Jeremy Renner’s guilt-ridden doctor, and Mila Kunis’s no-nonsense police chief.
With filmmaker Rian Johnson leaning into gothic paranoia and small-town secrets, this third Knives Out entry promises the series’ darkest, twistiest ride yet. Pray to God it opens in theaters near you on November 26th… if not, it will land on Netflix December 12th.

📺 Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion — Trailer
(on CBS/Paramount+ Nov 24th)
Everybody Loves Raymond turns 30! And nothing will make you feel the passage of time quite like realizing the Barones first stepped into America’s living rooms back when cable boxes still ruled and streaming wasn’t even a twinkle in tech’s eye.
The ‘90s sitcom became a warm-blanket staple, a sharp, deceptively simple multi-cam gem built on Ray Romano’s everyday-guy charm and the kind of family squabbling that felt ripped from real life. Now, CBS is bringing the clan back together for a reunion special hosted by Romano and creator Phil Rosenthal, set inside a lovingly rebuilt Barone household.
Original cast members Brad Garrett, Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten, and Sullivan Sweeten return to share stories and honor the late Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, whose iconic performances shaped the show’s heart.
Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion airs November 24th on CBS and streams the same day on Paramount+.

📺 The Beatles Anthology — Trailer
(on Disney+ Nov 26th)
Thanksgiving always turns into a battle over who’s cooking, but the real question is what everyone’s going to watch once they’ve drifted into a collective post-turkey food coma. This year, Disney has the perfect non-football option: a freshly restored, newly expanded version of The Beatles Anthology.
The iconic 1995 docuseries — famous for letting the Beatles tell their story entirely in their own voices — has been fully restored and polished by Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post team, the same wizards behind Get Back. The result is sharper, richer footage and an expanded nine-episode cut that digs even deeper into the band’s evolution, tensions, and triumphs.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just Beatles-curious, this is the definitive deep dive... and a pretty great excuse to avoid football altogether for a little lesson on how four lads from Liverpool changed everything we know about pop music. Streaming Wednesday, November 26th on Disney+.
