Marvel’s first family is back with a 1960s alternative twist, facing off against Galactus in a fresh new take on the classic superhero story, starring Pascal, Kirby, Quinn and Moss-Bachrach.
Well, it seems the film is taking place in an alternative timeline or possibly a new universe. It's also quite possible that it's simply a world that's more of a retro-futuristic modern-day reality rather than actually taking place in a '60s past.
There was a mention of something about "stretching the bounds of space," which to me means they just opened a gateway to the MCU. But if it were up to me, I’d prefer to keep the Fantastic Four in its own contained world. Having these movies always connecting to one another has grown a bit tired these days. But I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Can we wonder yet how this takes place in the 60s or are we on full timeline reset mode?!

Agreed on wishing it takes place in its own world-and Marvel is prob learning that lesson based on the dropoff!
Not a superfan of the Marvel movies buttttttt…I think that looks pretty good.
