Watch newly-released trailers for three highly anticipated TV shows!
✪ “Wednesday: Season 2” Full Trailer: Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) Returns as Nevermore’s New Popular Girl in New Season of Netflix’s Smash Hit — Part 1 Premieres August 6th, Followed by Part 2 Sept. 3rd
Wednesday Addams, the savior of Nevermore Academy! Who knew the girl who never sought attention unless she was sniffing out local grisly murders is now the most popular girl at her school. It couldn't have happened to a more reluctant Addams. And we see it takes a toll in this new full-length trailer for Wednesday: Season 2.
Jenna Ortega makes her triumphant return as everyone's favorite pigtailed misfit, picking up where she left off. And you best believe Wednesday is surlier than ever as she enters her second year at Nevermore Academy, where everyone now knows her name, and everyone wants her autograph. She, of course, finds the whole thing utterly repulsive.
And who can blame her? Popularity was never part of Wednesday’s plan. It’s getting through high school in peace, not in pieces, that’s the real goal.
Though it seems in this new second season of Netflix’s smash hit series, Wednesday will find her peace shattered once again by dark secrets, cryptic clues, and fresh visions of murder. This time, it's poor ole Enid Sinclair, Wednesday's adorably peppy roommate-slash-werewolf school chum (again played by breakout star Emma Myers, just coming off this year’s blockbuster A Minecraft Movie).
Wednesday probably won't admit it, but Enid has grown on her... like mold, but somehow warmer. And if she can use her premonition powers to somehow avoid Enid's grisly fate, she not only would, but she might even be sad to see Enid harmed in any way. Though she'd rather be tortured than have to admit that out loud. Sometimes being friends means you never have to say it out loud. And being friends with Wednesday Addams means accepting that affection might come in the form of a scowl, a sarcastic quip, or silently saving your life without ever mentioning it again.
If your takeaway from the first season was, “I need to see more members of the Addams family... asap!,” well, series creators/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar might have heard you loud and clear, as Season 2 is ready to open the crypt a little wider.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is back as Morticia Addams, playing a bigger role in Season 2 as she becomes more involved in her daughter’s journey—especially since Wednesday’s visions are becoming more unpredictable, intense, and possibly connected to the Addams’ own shadowy past.
Luis Guzmán also returns as Gomez Addams, while Isaac Ordonez once again takes on the role of Wednesday’s younger brother Pugsley Addams, who will be entering Nevermore this school year. Comedian Fred Armisen is again Uncle Fester, while British actress Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous) joins this new season as Grandmama, who might be more devilishly crafty than even Wednesday is prepared for.
With filmmaker Tim Burton back as the main helmer of the series and Steve Buscemi joining Nevermore as its new principal (not to mention Addams Family alum Christopher Lloyd making a guest turn), Wednesday: Season 2 is already building anticipation after the phenomenal success of Season 1. Season 2 will be split into two parts, with the first batch of new episodes dropping Wednesday, August 6th, followed by Part 2 on Wednesday, September 3rd, only on Netflix.

✪ “Untamed” Trailer: Eric Bana Plays a Yosemite Detective Tracking an Elusive Killer in Mark L. Smith’s New Netflix Miniseries — Premiering July 17th on Netflix
Here’s something you might not know: Yosemite National Park is about four times bigger than New York City, 2.3 times bigger than Los Angeles, and five times bigger than Chicago. Yet despite its vast wilderness (nearly the size of Rhode Island), it’s protected by only around 100–150 park rangers at any given time, year-round. That’s roughly one ranger per eight square miles.
Meaning, if a murdered corpse is found deep in the backcountry of Yosemite, it could be days before anyone even stumbles across it... and months to solve it. It could also mean, if more bodies are found and found to be connected, the killer might have found the perfect hunting ground—one nearly impossible to police, and surely a nightmare to investigate.
This is the basic set-up of Untamed, Netflix’s new murder-mystery limited series starring Eric Bana as Kyle Turner, a veteran Yosemite National Park detective investigating the final moments of a Jane Doe, whose body was found at the bottom of a massive cliff. With signs of foul play, he soon uncovers a link to other dead bodies—each possibly tracing back to the same calculating killer who’s using the wilderness as cover.
And now the hunt is on. But to catch a killer in a place this vast, Turner will need more than a map. He will need instincts sharper than the terrain itself, and the courage to follow his gut as it always pulls him in the right direction, even when the path is anything but clear.
This six-episode miniseries is executive produced and written by acclaimed writer Mark L. Smith (The Revenant, American Primeval), who shares co-showrunning and co-writing duties with his daughter Elle Smith. The duo previously collaborated on the 2023 Daisy Ridley–starring thriller The Marsh King’s Daughter, which they adapted from Karen Dionne’s novel.
In Untamed, Mark and Elle Smith use the majestic scenery of Yosemite as a backdrop to a suspenseful murder-mystery, where Bana’s character finds himself mentoring a young park ranger (played by Lily Santiago) as they pursue what looks to be a serial killer hiding in plain sight. And the usual suspects are the many wayward travelers and hikers that visit the park every day, each carrying their own questionable reasons for vanishing off the grid.
Also co-starring Sam Neill and Rosemarie DeWitt, Untamed is scheduled to premiere Thursday, July 17th on Netflix.

✪ “Twisted Metal: Season 2” Trailer: Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz Return for More Mayhem in Peacock’s Post-Apocalyptic Demolition Derby — Streaming July 31st
Who says the apocalypse is all doom and gloom? You can still have fun... it’s just fun with a little more life-or-death stakes thrown in. No one says the apocalypse is going to be easy, but if you're twisted enough, it just might be the best worst time of your life.
Anthony Mackie tosses his Captain America shield over his shoulder and grabs some post-apocalyptic apparel as he returns as John Doe in the new second season of Twisted Metal.
This is a Peacock streaming original, based on Sony PlayStation’s vehicular combat video game franchise, where Mackie leads the series as a post-apocalyptic delivery driver with amnesia, speeding away from an assembly of dangerous survivors and scavengers.
With the engines a little louder and the stakes a lot higher, John (Mackie) returns in this new season, now joining forces with fellow survivor Quiet (Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz), as they are thrown into the heart of the sinister Twisted Metal tournament—a high-octane, no-rules demolition derby hosted by the cryptic puppet master known as Calypso (played by Barry and Superman actor Anthony Carrigan). With freedom dangling like a carrot on a chain, they’ll have to outdrive and outgun a ruthless lineup of new enemies and returning psychos, including the ever-unhinged clown assassin Sweet Tooth (performed by wrestler Joe “Samoa Joe” Seanoa, voiced by comedian Will Arnett).
But survival isn’t the only thing on John’s mind. His path takes a personal detour when he comes face-to-mask with his estranged sister, Dollface (Tiana Okoye), a vengeance-fueled vigilante with scores to settle and secrets to reveal. As alliances shift, blood spills, and the roads run red, John and Quiet must decide if they’re in this race together with plans of bringing down the walls of the system—or just two more twisted souls destined for a crash course in betrayal.
Executive produced by Deadpool and Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick along with Cobra Kai producer-writer Michael Jonathan Smith, Twisted Metal: Season 2 also features Mike Mitchell as Stu, Michael James Shaw as Axel, Richard de Klerk as Mr. Grimm, Saylor Bell Curda as Mayhem, Patty Guggenheim as Raven, and Lisa Gilroy as Vermin.
Season 2 will begin streaming Thursday, July 31st on Peacock.
