🎥 “Fackham Hall” Trailer: Ben Radcliffe Cons His Way into High Society in New British Period Spoof with Thomasin McKenzie, Damian Lewis & Katherine Waterston — In Theaters December 5th
The spoof comedy has been somewhat absent lately. But then came along this summer’s release of the Naked Gun remake, shining a spotlight back on a subgenre once seen as a relic of the recent past. It also serves as a welcome reminder that sometimes pure absurdity, self-aware humor, and deadpan satire are the best ways for us to laugh at the very thing we love—movies and TV shows themselves.
Now, imagine the upstairs and downstairs dynamics of Downton Abbey told through the comedic stylings of Airplane! and Monty Python, and you’ll get an idea of the upcoming British comedy Fackham Hall. It’s a gleefully ridiculous period farce that’s equal parts costume drama and slapstick spoof.
Directed by British TV helmer Jim O’Hanlon (Trying, Catastrophe) and co-written by comedians Jimmy Carr, Patrick Carr, and the Dawson Bros. (Andrew and Steve Dawson), the film takes aim at the upper-crust English society of Downton Abbey—poking fun at their rigid manners, romantic entanglements, and endless tea-time dramatics.
When small-time pickpocket Eric Noone (Ben Radcliffe) cons his way into employment at an aristocratic English manor, he somehow climbs the household ladder, charms the lady of the estate (Thomasin McKenzie’s Rose Davenport), and finds himself framed for murder before you can say “spot of tea.” Cue secret affairs, family scandals, and the kind of farcical misunderstandings that would make even the Benny Hill theme blush.
Featuring an impressive ensemble that includes Damian Lewis and Katherine Waterston as the bumbling heads of the Davenport family, along with Tom Felton, Emma Laird, Tom Goodman-Hill, and Jimmy Carr himself as the moronic bishop of the local church, the film promises a comedy filled with posh chaos, murder, romance, and more double entendres than you can count.
Fackham Hall is slated to open in theaters December 5th.
🎥 “Sentimental Value” Trailer: Filmmaker Joachim Trier Explores Art, Ego, and Family Scars in His Cannes-Winning Drama Starring Stellan Skarsgård, Renate Reinsve, and Elle Fanning — In LA and NY November 7th
Dealing with a stubborn father is difficult—especially one who’s been emotionally absent for most of your life. But dealing with a stubborn father who also happens to be a world-renowned filmmaker whose latest project just happens to be about his relationship with his children... well, that’s a recipe for disaster. And also the premise for what could be one of the best films of the year.
In Sentimental Value, the latest critically acclaimed drama from Norwegian auteur Joachim Trier (The Worst Person in the World, Reprise), family dysfunction becomes the playground for deeply emotional human drama. The fallout of fame, art, and old wounds lies at the heart of why a father and his daughters can’t seem to see eye to eye.
At the center of said dysfunction is Swedish vet Stellan Skarsgård as Gustav Borg, a once-revered film director staging a comeback with a project so personal it threatens to shatter his family all over again. When his estranged daughter and budding stage actress Nora (Renate Reinsve, The Worst Person in the World) refuses to star in his new film, Gustav casts rising Hollywood actress Rachel Kemp (Elle Fanning, A Complete Unknown) instead—setting off a storm of resentment, regret, and uneasy reflections on who gets to control the family narrative.
Nora turns to her sister Agnes (Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, A Beautiful Life) for support as Gustav arrives uninvited to their family home, movie crew in tow, with Rachel stepping uncomfortably close into the family’s fragile orbit. Now, this fractured family must circle back to the past and reopen every scar that still demands healing.
With Oscar buzz building since its rave-reviewed premiere at Cannes—where it took home the Grand Prix—Sentimental Value is being hailed as one of the year’s best, further cementing Joachim Trier’s status as one of the defining filmmakers of his generation. With memorable performances from Reinsve, Skarsgård, and Fanning, each poised for awards-season attention, the film appears to be an intimate study of a family using art as both therapy and weapon.
Sentimental Value is due to open in Los Angeles and New York November 7th via Neon Films, expanding nationwide throughout November.

🎥 “Frontier Crucible” Trailer: Myles Clohessy, William H. Macy, Thomas Jane, and Armie Hammer Face the Lawless Edge of the Old West in Indie Gritty Western — In Theaters and On VOD December 5th
In a territory where the people are as hostile as the terrain, and the only thing guaranteed is the lack of mercy, who do you send to such a place? Perhaps someone who’s just as unforgiving and ruthless as the land itself.
In the new indie western thriller Frontier Crucible, the Old West is placed on a razor’s edge between survival and damnation. Myles Clohessy stars as Merrick Beckford, a hardened frontiersman enlisted by the Union Army to guide and protect a wagon carrying desperately needed medical supplies through enemy territory teeming with Apache warriors, double-crossers, and bandits.
Merrick’s only chance at making it to the other side? Joining forces with three ruthless outlaws who’d sooner shoot each other than share a campfire. But when a deadly mistake leaves an Apache scout dead, their fragile alliance ignites a violent chain of retribution that threatens to consume them all.
Adapted from Harry Whittington’s western novel Desert Stake-Out and directed by indie filmmaker Travis Mills (Terror on the Prairie), the film rides a tense line between classic western grit and corrupt virtue.
In addition to Myles Clohessy, the ensemble cast includes Mary Stickley, Eli Brown, Zane Holtz, Ryan Masson, and Eddie Spears, with guest turns from William H. Macy, Thomas Jane, and Armie Hammer. The film also marks Hammer’s first return to the screen following the widely publicized scandal that sidelined his career for several years.
Frontier Crucible rides into theaters and onto VOD/Digital December 5th.
🎥 “Wildcat” Trailer: Kate Beckinsale Takes Aim at London’s Criminal Underground in New High-Octane Crime Thriller with Lewis Tan, Charles Dance, and Alice Krige — In Theaters and On VOD November 25th
Kate Beckinsale may have started her acting career in costume dramas and period pieces (Much Ado About Nothing, Emma, Cold Comfort Farm), but most of her body of work now consists of action films (Underworld franchise, Total Recall, Jolt) and tense thrillers (Whiteout, Vacancy, Prisoner’s Daughter), proving that she’s not a woman to be underestimated.
In the new pulse-pounding action thriller Wildcat, Beckinsale stars as a former black ops assassin whose daughter is suddenly kidnapped in a plot tied to a turf war between two of London’s deadliest gangsters, played by acting vets Alice Krige and Charles Dance. Desperate to rescue her daughter, Beckinsale’s character reunites her old unit for a payback mission that involves executing a high-risk jewelry heist designed to spark a gang war. As London’s criminal underworld erupts into chaos, Beckinsale and her team unveil their true plan—one that dangerously blurs the line between rescue and revenge.
Also starring Lewis Tan, Rasmus Hardiker, Bailey Patrick, Tom Bennett, Matt Willis, and Roxy Striar, the adrenaline-fueled crime thriller is directed by indie action helmer James Nunn (Eliminators, One Shot).
Wildcat is set to hit theaters and VOD/Digital on November 25th.
🎥 “Signing Tony Raymond” Trailer: A Bumbling College Football Coach (Michael Mosley) Tries to Land a Star Recruit in New Sports Comedy with Mira Sorvino, Rob Morgan, and Marshawn Lynch — Coming Soon
In order to recruit the hottest college football player in the nation, you’d better be prepared to do just about anything to seal the deal—even if it means getting a little too cozy with his batcrap mother.
In the upcoming sports comedy Signing Tony Raymond, TV actor Michael Mosley (Ozark, Sirens, Scrubs) stars as Coach Walt McFadden, a once-promising assistant at Louisiana University who’s on his last chance to prove himself. His mission: sign the nation’s top defensive end, Tony Raymond, before rival schools snatch him up. But his recruiting trip to small-town Alabama quickly spirals into a circus of greedy locals, competing coaches, and a family that makes every deal feel like fourth-and-long.
Written and directed by indie filmmaker Glen Owen, the comedy also features Oscar-winner Mira Sorvino as Tony Raymond’s whacked-out mother from Hell. She’s overprotective, highly unpredictable, and also the first person you’ll need to charm if you want to get anywhere near her son.
The cast also includes Rob Morgan and Charles Esten, along with NFL legends Marshawn Lynch, Champ Bailey, Richard Sherman, and Brian “The Boz” Bosworth.
Signing Tony Raymond just premiered last weekend at the Austin Film Festival and will open in theaters nationwide sometime next year.
