Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu & Finn Cole Battle the Abyss in Alex Parkinson's Deep-Sea Rescue Thriller "Last Breath" Based on Acclaimed Documentary - Watch the Trailer!

The most terrifying aspect of being lost in space is that no one can hear you scream, let alone locate where you are. The same can be said about being lost deep beneath the vast blackness of the ocean. Both scenarios are profoundly horrifying and bleak.

In the oceanic survival thriller "Last Breath," Woody Harrelson stars as the captain of a deep-sea diving crew operating in near isolation far beneath the ocean's surface. After a catastrophic mishap, one of the divers becomes untethered from his safety cables and drifts rapidly away from his team. Battling fierce weather and mounting odds, Harrelson must lead his crew on a perilous rescue mission. The stakes are high, with the constant threat of failure and death looming over the team.

"Shang-Chi" star Simu Liu co-stars as one of Harrelson's senior crew members, while Finn Cole ("Peaky Blinders," "Animal Kingdom") portrays the young diver lost in the abyss. The cast also features Cliff Curtis and Djimon Hounsou.

"Last Breath" is inspired by the acclaimed 2019 British documentary of the same name, which chronicled the harrowing true story of diver Chris Lemons. Alex Parkinson, the co-director of the documentary, makes his feature narrative directorial debut with this thrilling adaptation.
