When you think of Aardman Studios, their groundbreaking stop-motion masterpiece, Wallace and Gromit, instantly comes to mind. Now, the iconic duo is making their long-awaited return, bringing their signature charm and humor back into our lives -- just when we need it most!
Check out the official full trailer for "Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl," marking Aardman's first feature-length adventure for the pair in nearly two decades. The last time audiences saw Wallace and Gromit on the big screen was in 2005's critically acclaimed "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit," which earned both a BAFTA and an Academy Award. So, fans should expect nothing short of fun and wildly entertaining as the bar is certainly raised pretty high at this point.
In this brand-new installment, premiering on Netflix this January, Wallace, the quirky and well-meaning inventor, finds himself in hot water when one of his peculiar contraptions goes haywire, leading to public backlash. To make matters worse, the duo must confront their old nemesis, the dastardly Feathers McGraw, a cunning chicken with a sinister plan.
Directed by Aardman co-founder and four-time Academy Award winner Nick Park, alongside Emmy-nominated animator Merlin Crossingham, the film also features the voice of Ben Whitehead as Wallace. Whitehead took on the iconic role after the passing of legendary actor Peter Sallis in 2017.
"Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" is set to debut on Netflix on January 3, 2025, bringing a new chapter of laughter and mischief to fans old and new.
