SYNOPSIS __________
Plot:
After leaving Harvard in disgrace, journalism student Matt
(Elijah Wood) journeys to London to visit his sister (Claire
Forlani). Once there, he becomes drawn into his brother-in-law's
band of weekend warriors, forever up for a ruck, and soon
finds himself caught up in the bloodlust of the gang. The
film's energy and visceral impact is not surprising: German-born
director Alexander was herself a former kickboxing champion,
and she brings an unvarnished verisimilitude to this high-octane
take on masculinity and tribalism.
