When monsters suddenly kidnap a boy from his bedroom, his teenage babysitter must find a way to rescue the child. To her surprise, she receives help from a secret society of monster-hunting babysitters whose job is to help any babysitter after a monster attack.

Check out the official trailer for "A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting," the new Netflix fantasy-adventure Halloween comedy, which is based on the first book of Joe Ballarini's popular spooky kid's book series of the same name.

The Netflix original film, starring Tamara Smart (Artemis Fowl), Oona Laurence (Pete's Dragon), Tom Felton (Harry Potter series), and Indya Moore (Pose), is produced by legendary "Ghostbuster" director Ivan Reitman.

The film is directed by Rachel Talalay, the veteran television and film director whose directing credits include "Tank Girl" and several episodes of "Doctor Who," "The Flash," and "Riverdale."
